How to use this Best Practice

The HeadStart addresses the questions of why child agency is important and how school heads can ensure that students are heard in the school and have agency over their education. School heads are invited to reflect on their current practices and use Hart´s (1992) Ladder of Participation as a framework for this. The HeadStart can then be used to as a guide on what to consider when improving Child Agency in their schools.
