In this activity students will look at some new laws from around the world to discuss the purpose of laws and think about how easy it is to implement new ones.

Use this one-hour Headline lesson to help your students:

• Understand the urgency of the “climate crisis”
• Explore the context around climate laws
• Debate whether these laws should be adjusted

This lesson encourages the discussion of wicked problems and dilemmas associated with sustainability citizenship.
