In an IB DP 1 science project at Sigtuna Skolan Humanistiska Lärverket, students participate in a collaborative scenario spanning 22 weeks, with an introductory lesson and two intensive days for data collection and group presentations, followed by individual reflections. The project focuses on sustainability, engaging students with local businesses to explore real-world applications. Linked to the Sustainable Development Goals, it promotes critical thinking, collaboration, and responsibility. Students collect and process data, create presentations, and reflect on their learning, integrating science with sustainable practices. The scenario is already in progress, fostering impactful, hands-on learning for sustainability.
