The Plastic Soup Foundation Introduction Lesson can be used to explore and educate students on how plastics negatively impact our oceans and the creatures that live there. The interactive quizzes can be used as a formative assessment. Ideas and alternatives are suggested for how students can reduce their plastic use. 

As an extension exercise, the Plastic Soup Foundation website can inspire actions that classes, schools, and local communities can take to reduce their plastic footprint.
