” Sustainability Citizenship and STEAM Education in Kilcooley NS” is a hands-on, enquiry-based learning programme that gets students really involved in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Maths (STEAM) while focusing strongly on sustainability and being good citizens. This programme brings together practical, place-based learning experiences that make the most of our school’s facilities and local community resources to help children understand sustainability issues and encourage them to be active citizens. Through classroom learning, project-based work, and getting involved in the community, students will look at real-world problems, develop their critical thinking and problem-solving skills, and take practical steps towards creating a more sustainable future.
